If you’re a football fan, or you’re simply into delicious statistics, take a look at Google’s Packers vs. Steelers search analysis. Apparently Googlers are sports fans too, and as the big G has offices in both Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, it thought that some good ol’ Google Insights analysis was in order.
There’s a ton of graphs which we’re not going to replicate here, but here’s some highlights:
- Aaron Rodgers is currently five times more popular than Lady Gaga — in Wisconsin, anyway
- Meanwhile, in Pittsburgh, they’re searching for the Steelers a lot more than President Obama
- While interest in Cheeseheads seems to have peaked, Terrible Towels continue to soar
- Wisconsinites seem to like guacamole more than Pittsburghers, who prefer baba ganoush
Incidentally, the humble but oh-so-tasty chicken wing reaches its peak during the Super Bowl, too.
