This exercise bike is of excellent quality. It's digital read out gives you a constant monitor of your status during your period of exercise. You can program manually or chose a program. The programs are pretty intensive for beginners like me but hopefully I will get up to that point soon. The delivery on this product was absolutely awesome except for a slight mess up with the day of delivery, but they cheerfully brought it back the next day.

I purchased this for my wife who had a knee replacement operation a few days earlier. Using this as instructed by her physicians has allowed for a fast recovery. Thanks for providing the product at a reasonable price.

I have used this bike 3-4 times per week for 6 weeks and I am very pleased with the durability and ease of use. Allows for various levels of exercise and the monitor covers all the basics but is a little hard to see in low light. The only other concern I have is that the seat could use more cushion.
All in all a great value and good features. I would recommend this bike to the person looking for a low to moderate exercise regimen.

This bike is awesome. It's the kind of exercise equipment you want to leave. It is so comfortable, easy to use and quiet. The preset programs really make it easy to get started. Assembly time was about 2 and 1/2 hours, however I was throwing the ball with my dog and watching TV and the same time. Assembly was pretty straight forward and if you do not try to skip steps or assemble ahead it's easy.
The whole purchase procedure and shipping from Amazon was flawless. The delivery from ABF was the best ever. ABF called and said it would be delivered Monday and we needed to have someone help the driver unload. I sent and e-mail to the ABF terminal and explained we are elderly and I just had back surgery. They delivered it Friday instead of Monday, had a special lift gate truck to unload it and the driver put the bike into our attached garage. He then opened the carton to make sure everything inside was OK. Service doesn't get any better than this!
Cons: I wish the power adapter cord was longer. It's only long enough to reach an electrical outlet if the bike is against the wall.
Gotta go now. I want to get back on my bike.

Yes, the packaging looked as though it had been used for target practice, but the frame is so solid that it survived undamaged. The packaging for the small parts and tools is very nice; they are mounted on a cardboard, sealed with a sheet of plastic, and sorted by the step requiring the parts and clearly labeled with the part number and name. It was a really easy installation, in large part thanks to this, e.g., no need to figure out which bolts where which length. The bike is really quiet and comfortable. The reading rack is okay for magazines, not so good for books, and inadequate for laptop computers, but it does not claim to accommodate the last.

After reading the previous reviews about shipping damage, I was hesitant to buy this bike. But I really did not want to deal with buying a bike in store, and having to bring it home myself. When the bike arrived 3 days later, (with super saver shipping) I was concerned. The box did have strapping, but that did not prevent a giant hole from being punctured in the side of the box. Thankfully, no pieces were missing, and we assembled the bike in less than 30 minutes. Bike works great, nice variation of workouts; seat could be a bit more comfortable, but looking into a seat cover. So far so good....

I'll echo the other reviews here except for the shipping issues. Maybe they've cleaned things up a bit, but my bike came in a box with a half-dozen compression straps holding the box together and everything was intact and nothing was broken.

I just love this bike. It was easily assembled, and it is totally silent! It is easy to conduct a conversation and/or watch TV while biking. The price was more than reasonable. I think if you are in the market for a stationary bike, this is it! IT takes little footprint, yet is sturdy and competent.

I purchased this bike a couple of months back and have been very satisfied with it. The bike arrived quickly and, despite all of the reviews here, in very good condition. All of the parts were accounted for and none were damaged. The bike itself was fairly easy to assemble, although I did use some tools of my own to speed up the process. When in use, the bike is nearly silent. Also, the bike is small enough to fit into my one-bedroom apartment with ease while still feeling very solid. I have not experienced any problems with it and have been using it every other day for a little over a month. One of the only drawbacks I've noticed is a limited selection of preset routines in the bike's computer and several of them are very similar. However, for the price, this is an excellent purchase and I would recommend it to anyone looking to get an affordable upright bike.

I have several physical problems that make exercise difficult. The Schwinn Airdyne is a perfect solution. I'm really glad I got it. The seat is a problem and I am going have to solve that problem. I am hoping the other seat they make will make it more comfortable. That's why only four stars.

The Airdyne I purchased has been everything I had hoped for, both an upper and lower body workout. I'm amazed that the local gyms don't have Airdynes or something similar, especially for the over fifty crowd, (I'm fifty-six). My wife loves it too. I'd rate it five stars.

I purchased this Schwinn Airdyne Exercise Bike because I have owned one which is the same exact model for about 20 years and loved it. The old model is still working, but it is very noisy in the geer part. I felt that it would not last much longer, and I wanted to buy the same one and discovered through Amazon.com that there was one available. I ordered it, received it with very clear instructions, and I love it. If this one lasts 20 years, I will be very happy.

I was looking for an excersice bike that would include the upper body as well as pedaling for my daughter who suffered from a stroke. This bike fit the bill, and her P.T. was very enthused that she was getting it. It was delivered very promptly, her husband assembled it without undue difficulty and it doesn't take up that much room. Best of all my daughter finds it very helpful for monitoring her progress on the computer that's attached to the bike and the seat is comfortable. I am very happy that she has it and uses it.

good sound bike, made well. only gripe is that the seat came with a cut on the edge and a plastic piece was broken but nothing that hinders the function of the bike.
