I bought this bike a month ago and it is great. I like the low profile so that I'm not bumping my knees into anything. It's quiet and my thighs are shaping up rather nicely. I cannot believe the price. I came back and ordered one for my mother as well. My husband had no trouble assebling them and even he was impressed with the quality at that price point.

After a bit of reviewing several bikes and treadmills, I decided to go with a bike for a nice low-impact workout (back problems). I chose a recumbent bike for back support. Let me tell you I am glad I bought this bike. I have had it for about a month and I am still totally satisfied. I like to exercise while watching tv and this bike is silent...so I can hear. It is also very sturdy ~ I am over the weight limit and it holds me up just fine. I would recommend this bike to ANYONE looking for nice bike.

This is the best investmemt in physical vitality I have ever made. The box came on time, and on my request the UPS guy cheerfully took it right to the bedroom for me saving me a lug of it's 64 pounds. Delving to the box, I discovered a number of odd looking pieces, but on opening the excellent instruction booklet, all became crystal clear.

This bike is REALLY easy to assemble as long as you pay careful attention to the directions: One note I missed was that the left pedal had left hand threads so you have to turn it anti-clockwise to get the threads started. I messed with it for a few minutes until I got it ... DUH it might be leftie. And the instructions are clear; but just in case you overlook it as I did here's a heads up.

The great number of bolts and nuts are easily but really slowly dealt with using the cute little many-size-in-one wrench (spanner) included. But it will go a lot faster if you grab a 14MM socket (the majority af bolts and nuts are that size) and your favorite ratchet wrench with a short extension!

Okay, it's all built so I hop on for a ride. I am amazed how SMOOTH it i, and it's sooo quiet too (my downstairs neighbors will appreciate that!). It has a great little display showing time, mileage etc and it's easy to adjust the resistance level while riding. After a good 20 minute first workout I was so pleased with this that I hopped on my laptop to write this review.

I am so glad I didn't go for the cheapest one which a few reviewers reported issues with; that encouraged me to spend a little more of the old hard-earned. Great thanks to all the reviewers who make the buying decisions a LOT easier. Amazon rocks and so do Y'all!

This bike is a great deal for the price. It is very sturdy and seems well built. Only two (minor) problems I have with it. First, you need 2 people to adjust the length as one person alone can't do it. So if more than one person uses it and you're different sizes it could be a pain to adjust. I'm 5'0" and my boyfriend is 5'9". We keep it on the shortest distance all the time and because it's such an effort to adjust it when I use it I have to use two big fluffy pillows behind my back :) Not a really big deal I suppose. Second, the least resistance is quite tight. It feels like I'm getting more of a leg workout than a cardio workout but that's just my own personal gripe.

On average I do cardio 6 times a week between the gym, running and biking outdoors or using this exercise bike. I like to use this bike on days that for whatever reason I can't make it into the gym or if it's too hot outside, so this is great for that purpose! I think for the price it is a great bike and serves it's purpose...as long as you use it!

I am so incredibly impressed with this bike. For the price, I expected it to be adequate, at best... but it is EXCELLENT. Quiet, smooth ride. Sturdy, comfortable, easily adjusted, and doesn't take up a lot of space. It's light enough to move without too much hassle. Digital readout is simple, easy to use, and thorough. This is one GREAT exercise bike, and for this price, it's a real bargain. Highly, highly, highly recommended.
